Cashback (2006)
An art student Ben Willis leaves her girlfriend Suzy, he develops chronic sleeplessness when he saw her moving fast. So nights become more longer for him, to pass these hours he started to work in local supermarket. Here he meets different colorful characters. Ben is concerned with his art in such a way that he thinks he can stop the time. So he can understand the real beauty of frozen world and the people inside it specially the beautiful and calm girl whose name is Sharon. Perhaps she is carrying the answer to resolve the trouble of Ben’s sleeplessness.
Lost in Translation (2003)
An American film actor
Bob Harris visits Tokyo for performing in commercials where he meets Charlotte;
she is a wife of a visiting photographer. Soon they came important for one
another. Charlotte wants her place in Bob’s life while Bob is tolerating an
average marriage. They both pass the time and becoming more close to one
another. They are little nervous and amuse because of cultural and language
difference between themselves and the Japanese. Soon they started to realize
that their visit to Japan and their relation is going to end.
Raging Bull (1980)
Jake LaMotta is a
champion of boxing ring, he destroys his opponent and he is a winner. But on
the other hand his real life is worse. He treat his family same like he is in
the ring, so he lose everything even he loves his family. His anger is
beneficial in the ring but not in the real life. He tries to overcome the
errors of real life but every time something seems to happen that is not fair
for him.
Into the Wild (2007)
Based on a true story, a
young boy Christopher McCandless completed his graduation from Emory University.
He was a top student and athlete, gave up his all belongings. He gave his all
bank cash $24,000 to a charity and he started to travel towards Alaska to live
wild. During his journey he met with different characters which cause different
changes in his life.
Pain & Gain (2013)
This movie is based on a true story of Daniel
Lugo, he is a Miami bodybuilder and he wants to live an ideal life. Many people
have a large amount of money so he also wants money. But he cannot gather it
alone se he decided to make a team in which he added two more partners. Unfortunately
they have not a fastest mind so everything about kidnapping and extortion
scheme went totally unexpected. They got trouble instead of money
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)
This is a drama in which
the heart of someone is broken away because his girlfriend underwent through a
process to remove him from her mind. Now he decided to do the same process. In
the beginning he became successful to faint her memories but he found himself
again on the same place where he started with her, he is still in love, he
cannot remove her from his mind and now it’s too much late to correct his
misbehave.
Oldboy (2003)
This is a story full of
mystery. A person is kidnapped and he placed in a prison for 15 years without
any clarification. After a long time he is released, he got money, mobile and
pricey clothes. Now he struggles to find out the person and reason that why he
was kept in prison for many years. Soon he will find the path which will lead
him to release that secret.
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975)
McMurphy suffered in
past due to criminal activities and now again he placed himself in a terrible situation.
He doesn’t want labor work in prison so he showed himself a mad boy and he is
sent to the mental ward. Here again he has to bear the cruelty of a harsh Nurse
Ratched. So McMurphy and other inmates make a gang to stand against brutal
nurse.
Goodfellas (1990)
This is a tremendous
movie about gangsters. Henry Hill was a gangster and he was involved in a
robbery with Tommy De Vito and Jimmy Conway, they were also gangsters with high
motives. His partners killed everyone else involved in the robbery. With the passage
of time his partners started to move up the ladder of Mob. Henry is strongly affected
due to his partners triumph. Is he capable to lead forward and defeat his old
partners?
